We support children and young people to manage their mental health in education

Story

I have been extremely lucky to have been chosen to play Jamie in the BBC series of 'Jamie Johnson'.

I understand that not all children have the support and opportunities that I have had and can stuggle with mental health that can be related to several different issues in life.  I would like fans of the show, and other children to be aware that all of us have times in our lives that we may stuggle with.  Support is out there and all you have to do is talk, and I would like to please encourage you to reach out and speak to someone who can help.

I am running in The Great manchester Run to raise money for Nurtureuk  who work to provide sustained mental health and well-being support for children and young people in their education.  Often in schools, a lack of adequate support for children's well-being can get in the way of their learning and increase their risk of exclusion and social isolation.  Please donate to ensure that these children and young people will receive the support they desperately need.

I am also running in memory of my Auntie  - Pauline Caine.
