Story

I started running 10yrs ago in memory of one of my best friends. She was 36yrs old.  I had NEVER run prior to that.
I am not a natural runner. Every mile requires effort and determination of my ikkle legs.
I describe running as a 'love hate' relationship...'i love it...it hates me'
Running the London Marathon, for me, is the ultimate running challenge and i hope to raise vital funds to help promote awareness of skin protection, treatment of melanoma (skin cancer), support for families and patients ...and one day a cure!

About the campaign

About the charity

Melanoma UK was set up in 2007 in memory of Jon Herron. We support patients and families affected by melanoma (skin cancer) and funds raised help to provide that support. We are funding much needed melanoma nurses along with help in vital research. Melanoma is a cruel disease, still without a cure.
