We are raising awareness and money to make Performing Arts accessible to all

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and my good friend Penni Bubb have hijacked 'Stoptober' to raise money for a charity very close to both of us: Equal People Performing Arts (EPPA). Penni is giving up diet coke for the month and I'm giving up sugar .... wahhh!!

About EPPA ....

The charity exists to provide access to the arts for people of all abilities, needs and backgrounds. Whether they're serious about a career or just want to be involved in dance, drama or music for the love.

The charity already does some amazing work:

  • The building in Rayleigh provides a safe space, with experienced staff for people with additional needs
  • PALS (Performing Arts Life Skills) takes place during the day - it's an opportunity for people with additional needs to learn necessary life skills, socialise and perform.
  • EPPA is Essex County Council's preferred supplier for short breaks - workshops for people with additional needs.
  • The building is also home to The Mushroom Theatre Company and Essex Vocal Coaching: both organisations welcome children of all abilities.

Although this already sounds like a lot, there is so much more EPPA can be doing to help support people with additional needs and their families. So please sponsor us!

About the charity

Equal People Performing Arts is a fully inclusive performing arts studio centre serving South East Essex, committed to promoting equality. It has created a safe and dignified space where disabled and non-disabled children and adults can work together in all aspects of the performing arts.
