Thanks for visiting my SHINE fundraising page.

I know I'm mad, I know I'm ultra busy, I know there are just not enough hours in the day and that is exactly why I've chosen to do this walk at night as sleep is for wimps!

I will have also completed two 10k running races this year so thought I'd take it easy and rest over the summer months by taking a stroll.

Myself and my friend Barbara are walking 26.2 miles (the 0.2  will be the hard part!) through the streets of London on the 1st October to raise money to fight Bowel Cancer.

My Auntie was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer a couple of years ago and was successfully operated on. This year a close family friend has also been diagnosed with bowel cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and awaiting surgery.  For these reasons Bowel Cancer is my chosen cancer to highlight during this event.

I anticipate this will take us between 7-8 hours, please sponsor me to spur me on to make this a realistic goal and support a worthy cause.
