Harpers Hair Donation

Harper’s Hair Donation · 3 July 2021
What still feels like yesterday but was a few years ago now, Harper’s Godmother was diagnosed with Cancer, Harper was only little and truly did not understand what this big word meant,. We answered questions only as she asked them, the conversation turned to treatment and that Auntie Alex would lose her hair, but that’s fine as it will grow back and whilst we waited Alex could wear a wig or multiple wigs, choosing what her hair could be everyday!.
Intrigued, Harper’s immediate response was, well I have a lot of hair, could mine be used to help make wigs. Most definitely! She’s been growing ever since and the time has now come.
The reason for the Just Giving page is because it’s ok to donate the hair, however the charity also requires funds to continue to make the wigs.
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
The best news ever is that Auntie Alex is fully recovered and that is the best good news of this story, Love you, you brave strong woman!
