Thanks for supporting my fundraising for Macmillan Cancer support - I'm part of a team from Dr Martens called Wardy's Wanderers - we are walking in memory of our friend Adam Ward and hoping to raise lots of money to thank Macmillan for all the support they gave to Adam during his battle with cancer. Unfortunately, Adam passed away in February this year - but in his final months he took on and completed the London Marathon - Adam showed true guts to get to the finish line and we could all see that it meant everything to him - this is why we are challenging ourselves now as Wardy's wanderers to follow in his triumphant footsteps and walk further than we had ever thought we would or possibly could. 26 long hard miles.
