The Ridgeway Cancer Support Team help treat and support people with breast cancer. The care they give is beyond words and has helped my friend Rachel recover through Chemo and Radio treatments to full remission.
They rely heavily on public funds but are a small charity (we’re their first ‘just giving’ donor!). They are looking for funds to buy equipment that will enable home treatments.
**A QUICK UPDATE - see below**
We’re delighted to run to help this team of highly dedicated people who give such practical and life-changing help to so many folks affected by cancer.
Any money raised will go towards the equipment they need.
Thank you for your support. It is very much appreciated and will make a difference.
Lots of love,
Louise xx
**UPDATE**
Well, I'm pleased to say that we completed the course (Peter in 2 hrs exactly, me in 1hr 49mins). It was a great event with over 6000 runners.
Thank you so much for your generous sponsorship. We're thrilled by this great response in such a short time. The charity is very excited to see such a sum and it will all go towards the new equipment they need.
Anyone who still wants to donate can do so in the normal way via this page.
Many thanks again.
Lots of love
Louise xx
