Thank You for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I'm raising as much money as possible for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and I am so grateful for your help in trying to reach this target.

 

I fundraise for this cause because I believe that, with investment in research, one day there will be a cure for blood cancers and we can keep families together.  My father died from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and it was something that has shaped the lives of my Mum, my sister and I ever since; I know there are so many other families with stories much like this around the world, but what if we could change that?

 

So, to try and raise this money:

 

Firstly, I'm running with the Banana Army in Bristol Half Marathon on 11/09/2011.

*DONE! - Finished Bristol Half in 2:03:47, sadly missed out on being under two hours due to a poorly stomach at mile 11, but a good day had by all and I met lots of lovely people along the way.

Then in November this year I will be running the 120 miles from Fowey to Lands End on the South West Coast Path starting 12/11/2011 and arriving in Lands End on 15/11/2011. I'll need to average 30 miles a day each day and I'll be joined by the amazing Becky Lewis for the final 30 miles on my birthday. You superstar Becky!

Finally, at the end of that week I'm putting on a fundraising night in Bristol with some great bands (mine included!) 

I wanted to do something a little different to mark my 30th birthday and I thought of no better way than breaking myself in the name of charity.

 

I will be so grateful for any support you can give me. Spread the word, come and cheer me on or run with me, have a cake sale, dress down at work, ask your company if they will sponsor - whatever you can think of!  And please donate as little or as much as you are able.

 

Whatever you can do will be absolutely fantastic.
