We're a small charity that rescues unwanted cat and kittens in the South East of England but also from Ireland and Sardinia. We have a sanctuary which is home to about 50 cats, 30 of which need homes. We also run a cattery service and home visits for when people are on holiday to raise much needed funds. It costs £10,000 a month to do what we do so please help if you can.

Story

Leo was a beautiful male British Blue, and found wandering on the streets of Bromley last September and fortunately rescued by Romney.  He was 7 years old and had spent a lot of his rather sad life moving homes and used for breeding.

We were thrilled to have him in our lives, and he was equally happy and content, enjoying the garden, learning to play with toys for the first time, and really loving his food!

After a couple of months things started to go wrong with his health and he became lethargic, and finally stopped eating and having any interest in life.  After many examinations and procedures from various vets it was found he needed an operation to attach his gall bladder to his intestine which was causing the problems.  It was complicated with only a 50% survival rate.

With the deepest sadness, we had to have him put down after a few days when it was clear he was not going to recover.   We have a lovely plant outside in loving memory of our short time with a magnificent cat.

I would like to raise as much money as I can for cats like Leo, and to help the rescue centre take in the strays and mistreated and neglected cats, and care for them until good homes are found. They need our support and help as much as possible.

Thank you to anyone who makes a contribution, I am really grateful,

Louise
