I'm running my first ever Half Marathon - something I had never anticipated I would ever say let alone do. Before I signed up I had never ran more than 5km, so this been not only a huge commitment but also a big personal challenge. 

 I have chosen to run the Half Marathon to raise money for Wintercomfort - an amazing local charity who for more than 28 years, has supported people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home in Cambridge. They are a day centre, open seven days a week. In 2018-19 they supported 836 individuals making over 22,000 visits to their centre for support.

If you can spare a donation it will not only help  push me along the next 5 weeks of training, but it will feed back into a charity dedicated to helping some of the most vulnerable members of the community.
