After two children, it has been a long time since I took to the roads with my running shoes. 

Naseem’s Brain Tumour Charity is a wonderful little charity that does incredible work, supporting adults and children diagnosed with brain tumours, as well as offering support to families. The charity also funds essential research projects.

I have personally been hit by the turmoil of cancer in my family, losing my loving mother when I was young. My incredibly strong mother-in-law lost her stunningly beautiful daughter at 21 to a brain tumour and my sole-mate Mo, lost his young sister. 

Many of us have our heartbreaking stories and for this, I will commit to something hard, worthy and that requires pure dedication in order to achieve. Running 2 full Marathons (and the training involved)  is unthinkable to me right now, but with support from family and friends I know I can succeed. 

Please do follow my training on Strava. The training is the hardest part and your likes, kudos and comments of encouragement make it all the more meaningful. Blisters, sweat and tears will be inevitable, hopefully lots of beautiful rewarding views running across countryside too.
