Story

Four of us ladies have decided to embark on ‘a bit of a walk’ and thought it would be a good opportunity to raise some money for an excellent cause.

On the weekend of the 5th of June we will be walking 100km from London to Brighton taking in both the North and the South Downs along the way.

We will be raising money for St George’s Hospital Children’s Ward, where one of our children has unfortunately had to spend a lot of time. The aim is to raise money to make for a more pleasant environment for children recovering from surgery or undergoing treatment; to buy equipment and toys to help them pass their time. The staff there are absolutely amazing and deserve any help they can get to support kids who are going through a very tough time.

Any money raised will really motivate us to keep putting one (blistered) foot in front of the other until we reach the sea at Brighton!

About the charity
