Story
In December 2020, I went to the doctors having found a lump in my groin and suffering from sudden constipation that I couldn’t explain. After various tests and scans doctors confirmed that it was ovarian cancer. And so my journey began...
10 weeks later I have had various hospital appointments and started chemotherapy treatment. This journey hasn’t been easy so far but I am so incredibly blessed with the most amazing family and fabulous friends who have all made me realise that this is not just my journey but OUR journey. Together we would all like to turn my diagnosis into a chance to raise awareness of the disease and money for Cancer Research UK.
With the help of family and friends we are hoping to collectively achieve a total of 24,901 miles. This will be the equivalent of walking/running/cycling/swimming around the world. Whilst also completing some individuals challenges along the way. We aim to do this throughout the course of my journey.
It would be fantastic if you would like to join us and help us clock up the miles and/or make a donation to a wonderful cause close to everybody's heart. You could organise your own personal challenge or simply enjoy getting out with your family and friends. If you decide to join us in our journey around the world please let me know so we can add your miles to the running total. No matter how many miles you are able to contribute, every little helps and it very much appreciated.
Please help me turn my situation into a positive one where we can all embrace life itself with our family and friends.
Let’s not wait for the storm to pass let’s all dance in the rain together because it’s together that we WILL make a difference ❤️
