In January a good friend and colleague was attended by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance when she was knocked of her bicycle, sadly she died in Barnsley Hospital despite their best efforts. Aged just 36 and married for three short months Maria is greatly missed. I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon this year for Maria. Her family are raising money to fund the Yorkshire Air Ambulance for one day and any money donated will go to their total.
