Story

Dear Friends

Our friends' beautiful little boy Noah died on 25 January this year, shortly after his second birthday and three weeks before the birth of their daughter, Daisy. Following his death they received confirmation that Noah had a rare condition called mitochondrial disease which caused his heart to fail.  Ashleigh and Nick are now awaiting news, as to whether Daisy will also be affected.

We are running the Bangor 10k to raise funds for a charity called CLIMB (Children Living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases) in Noah's Memory and in support of little Daisy. The charity advises and helps families and funds research into these serious and often devastating diseases.

Ashleigh and Nick are our inspiration. Through their loss they have shown incredible courage.  Through their love, they have been each other's strength.
