Story
As Head of People at Lawdeck & HomeHero, I wanted to not just acknowledge but support our colleagues who are observing Ramadan and really help our team get in to the spirit of Ramadan, which along with fasting includes being charitable.
With this in mind, our team are fasting today (in whatever capacity they can) and we will then come together to break our fast and explore the history and purpose of fasting in the Muslim religion at Iftar, this evening.
As a charitable event, we will be supporting Muslim Hands - The Open Kitchen Appeal, which provides meals to the UK's most vulnerable people. £35 provides 10 meals and we will let you know after today how many meals we have provided.
How can you help?
Anyone can donate, not just those fasting today. LawDeck will also match your donation of up to £10 (but you can of course donate more if you wish to do so).
Best of luck to everyone involved and thank you for your donation!
