Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am one of 35 colleagues from Lloyds Banking Group taking part in this amazing challenge, raising funds and awareness for Mental Health UK. One in four of us will experience mental health issues in any given year and the purpose of 'Walk the Talk' is to get people talking about Mental Health, remove the stigma and help change peoples attitude towards it.

Having worked in Line Management for many years I have seen first hand the impact that the support of this wonderful charity can have and how intervention and support early on can often lead to a very positive outcome, with individuals unable to believe the difference made by opening up and talking things through with an impartial person.

The challenge itself is quite a physical one, with 5 days of trekking, including repairing the wall. Carrying bricks from the bottom and then laying them to restore the damaged parts of the Wall, becoming part of history in the process.

Please help me raise as much funds as possible for this wonderful charity.

Please note that 100% of all donations will be going directly to Mental Health UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
