MY CHALLENGE: to walk 450km of the Camino de Santiago, from Saint Jean de Pied de Port (France) to León (Spain) in a maximum of 17 days (average of 27km/day) between 11-28 August 2016.  
MI RETO: caminar 450km del Camino de Santiago, de Saint Jean de Pied de Port (Francia) a León (España) en máximo de 17 días (mediano 27km por día) entre 11-28 de Agosto 2016.

WHY OPEN DOORS?

Did you know....
-There are more than 150million persecuted Christians in the world. This number is growing.  For example in Nigeria in just one year there have been 4,000 deaths and 30,000 people displaced.  Nigeria is at no12 in the World Watch List that reflects the 50 countries where Christians area at greatest risk. - Open Doors offers the affected people socio-economic help, training, legal assistance, bibles & literature and also prayer (prayer is what the affected people ask form most!)  For more information see www.opendoors.org.
- David Cameron, ex-Prime Minister of the UK is a Christian and has recently met with Open Doors UK. http://www.opendoorsuk.org/news/stories/uk_151120.php
-I am actively involved in Puertas Abertas (Open Doors) in Valencia - specifically praying and helping to inform people about the current situation in various countries.

-Hay más de 150milliones de cristianos perseguidos en el mundo? Y está creciendo. Por ejemplo en Nigeria en un año ha habido 4,000 muertos y 30,000 desplazados, y Nigeria está a número 12 en la Lista Mundial de Persecución (https://www.puertasabiertas.org/pdfs/lmp20162 ) que refleja los 50 países donde los cristianos se ven sometidos a mayor presión y riesgo.    
- Puertas Abiertas ofrece a los afectado ayuda social-económico,  formación, asistencia jurídica, ofrece biblias y literatura y oración (oración es lo que más piden los afectado!)   Para más información mirad en www.puertasabiertas.org 
- Yo estoy en Valencia activa con Puertas Abiertas en la oración y también la sensibilización de gente sobre la situación actual.
