Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 29th July 2012 I am going to face my fear and jump from a plane dressed as Superwoman to raise money for a Charity that means so much to myself and Chloe.

In 2010 my beautiful Mum Debbie was diagnosed with a meningioma type Brain Tumour which come as a complete shock. Within a couple of months she attended the amazing Addenbrooks Hospital in Cambridge to have the tumour removed, within hours of coming out of a 10 hour operation, Mum was back on the ward, sitting up and doing what she does best...talking! She proved to me then that she was strong and was going to stay positive and recover quickly, within a few days she was home, cleaning, cooking and best of all smiling :O) ...she attended regular scans, as precuation and afer care... and everything seemed fine...until August last year on a routine scan the doctors discovered another tumour, this time a different more aggressive type of tumour and one that turned out to be cancerous. In October this year she had the second tumour removed, and again was up talking and smiling within hours. Recently she has been through Radiotherapy and lost all of her hair. Thankfully the treatment seems to have worked and now its a road to full recovery that we are walking. In all the time my darling mummy has been ill, I have never heard her once, complain, moan, or feel sorry for herself, just remain positive, upbeat and smiling and for that she is my insipration and I am so very proud of her and this is why I want to raise money for MacMillan Cancer fund, as they have been fantastic and are a great charity.

I am also skydiving and raising money for another Inspirational Superwoman, Beverley Brookes. Beverley is my friend Chloe's Mum and she has been diagnosed with Breast cancer and is going through intense treatment, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy and is still so strong and positive and like my mum, smiling and laughing.Beverley does not complain or feel sorry for herself. Like me Chloe is so extremely proud and in awe of how strong her mummy is. Beverley is an amazing Superwoman and we are so so proud of how she copes. Inspirational.

Myself and Chloe call our Mummy's Superwoman as to us that is exactly what they are!

So I am kindly asking if you will please please pretty please sponsor me, so that I can raise money for MacMillan Cancer Charity. Just the smallest amount would mean the world to me.

Thank you all so much
