The Climate Change Challenge
Campaign by ActionAid (RCN 274467)
Help ActionAid support the women and girls in Cambodia fight against the devasting impact of climate change by walking the equivalent of Mount Kilijamaro (90km) or to the Everest Base Camp (130km) throughout the month of your choosing.

Story

This May, I'm taking part in The Climate Change Challenge for Action Aid by walking the distance to Everest Base Camp (130km/84 miles), in rather less challenging terrain!  But there are hills!

ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. This is part of ActionAid's 'She is the answer' appeal - helping women and girls fight against the devastating climate crisis.  The aim is to train Women Champions by giving them the skills, knowledge and confidence to take leadership roles in making long term decisions about how to adapt and keep their communities safe from the devastating effects of climate change.

From now until 4th June, everything I fundraise will be matched, pound for pound, by the UK Government, meaning our support will go even further!  Any donation would be much appreciated. Together we can change the world with women and girls! Thank you for your support. My page donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. It's efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity.
