My dearly missed dad was diagnosed with lung cancer two years ago. 

He wasn’t a smoker, just one of those unfortunate minority who suffer the illness, despite previously living healthily.

He was the kind of man who just got on with things, he didn’t bemoan his luck and didn’t dwell on the situation. He just continued to be the same reliable, helpful and resourceful dad I’d always known. 

Despite fighting a tough battle with the cancer, he sadly died on May 27th. We have no doubt that new treatments, including immunotherapy, helped extend dad’s life, helping him to become a grandad for the first time to my son, Jake, last year.

We want to help other families experiencing situations like these. Any money you can donate to help Cancer Research UK fight and beat cancer would be much appreciated.
