In 2019 Louise was diagnosed with a Astrocytoma… a rare form of brain cancer. Louise has taken on many running events to raise money for Brain research UK and this time she will take on another challenge but with her best friend and soul mate. Her husband Thomas! 

Thomas has been just as affected by Louise’s tumour as she has and he has chosen to bravely come out of his comfort zone to help raise more vital funds for Brain Research Uk by joining her to Run the Great North Run on Sunday 10th September 2023! 

Unfortunately brain tumours still remain the biggest killer of children and adults under the age of 40 in the UK. Brain research Uk funds a specific research programme to try and find a cure for Louise’s type of tumour! This is why it is so important to Louise & Thomas to continue to fundraise for this amazing charity!
