Hi everyone! 

As you all know I am a volunteer marine mammal medic for the UK charity British Divers Marine Life rescue. As volunteers we respond to and help rescue any stranded, injured or distressed marine mammals around the UK. From rescuing, treating and transporting poorly seal pups to rehabilitation centres around the country, to assisisting and refloating whales, dolphins and porpoises which have stranded around the coast. 

The charity has had to cancel most of its fundraisers and has lost so much of its income due to the current pandemic. However the charity has still continued  to operate its 24/7 hotline and send trained volunteer medics to respond to callouts all around the UK. 

This charity which I am so passionate about and love being apart of is truly in need of donations to help with the continuing support of the rescue and treatment of our marine mammals. I am gratefully asking for donations for our midlands region where we continue to respond to callouts, purchase new equipment and provide local courses to train new medics which add to our growing list of volunteers.
