Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

My Dear Friend Chris, sadly lost his dad, Michael Peart to cancer at the beginning of this April. Michael was the first British Ambassador in Vilnius, Lithuania, after the break up of the Soviet Union and he was heavily involved in charitable work over there.

Before Michael died he asked Chris to do this run in his memory and raise much needed funds. In turn, Chris has asked me to join him.

Chris will be running for the St Francis Cancer support centre (which Michael was patron for) and I will be raising funds for St Margaret's Hospice in Somerset, where Michael spent his last few weeks, and who showed Michael, his wife Helena, and Chris the much love and support that they needed at this devastating time.

Unfortunately this disease, that is cancer, seems to affect and touch the lives of more and more of us each day, and there is growing pressures on such essential establishments like St Margaret's, so please support me, as a way of a 'Thank you' to them for the amazing jobs these people do at such a difficult time in peoples' lives.
