I am a midwife at Warrington Hospital maternity unit and I'm sure many will agree that it could do with a makeover to make it a nicer, more welcoming and homely environment for women who choose to give birth there. So, as part of the 'Delivering the Future' campaign I have decided to run a half marathon.

On the 17th September, I will run all 13.1 miles of the English Half Marathon, a massive personal challenge for me as in April I couldn't run to the end of my street!
