Story

Welcome to our justgiving page for the 2013 London to Paris bike ride. Our challenge is to ride from Clapham Common London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. We will be crossing the channel by ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe.

We intend to complete the journey in just 3 days, starting Friday 6th September and finishing Sunday 8th September. As you would expect this is no easy challenge! We will be in the saddle for a grueling 240 miles not including getting lost on route.

The 30 strong team of challengers is made up of 26 riders and 4 support team, of which I am sure you will know someone taking part. The majority of people joining us on this epic journey have never done anything like this before and are at present putting in plenty of hours of training to prepare for the ride. So please help them to help us by digging deep for our charity and raising plenty of cash for ENSAT which is so close to our hearts..

We are raising money for ENSAT in memory of our much loved Louise and baby Michael who tragically passed away 3 years ago in 2010.

ENSAT ( european national study of adrenal tumours ) is the only organisation in existence that deals directly with the very rare condition that took our Louise and Michael away from us. They are a very young charity of which we have been one of their biggest supporters in the last 3 years raising over £67,000 for their cause so far. The money raised by us, along with European grants has allowed them to make some massive advances in the detection of adrenal tumours. It has also helped to produce new software which works on a percentage basis and will give so many people much more chance of survival with this early prognosis.

Thank you for helping us to make a difference
