Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
The company I work for has persuaded me to do a sponsored 40 mile walk for them to help raise funds. I'm not expecting you all to donate a huge amount (after all, we are in the middle of a recession), but why not consider donating even 1p a mile (after all, it all adds up!). Of course, any more you can spare would be good!

Northern Stage is the largest producing theatre company in the North East of . We make and present theatre for all ages and tastes and offer life-changing opportunities to participate in the performing arts. Our theatre in Newcastle (formerly known as Newcastle Playhouse) turns 40 in 2010 and to celebrate, we are planning a very special programme of productions, projects and events which will help us reach more people and beat the recession!
On July 3rd and 4th 2009 40 teams of staff, friends, family and supporters are coming together to raise money for Northern Stage and I hope you will support me as I take part in a 40 mile sponsored walk. The walk will take two days and an overnight camp, starting from Haltwhistle in Northumberland, following a route along Hadrian’s Wall and finishing at the theatre in Newcastle.
They say that Life begins at 40 and the funds raised from this event will help the theatre take a leap into a more ambitious and sustainable future. Supporting this event will enable Northern Stage to continue creating fabulous theatre and provide even wider opportunities for people of all ages to get involved with the performing arts.
