As some of you may know, I have been volunteering for Childline for a while now. It's a great service from the NSPCC allowing children to talk about absolutely anything in confidence and without being judged. 

Despite the hundreds of thousands of contacts answered through this free service, there are still many who can't get through due to the volume of calls so money is always needed to train Counsellors and Supervisors and maintain high standards for all the children that need this service. 

I've experienced first hand the quality of the training provided and the continued support for those involved. I've met some really fab people at the Birmingham base who make a real difference to children's lives through their advice and support.
