Lowenek Art Studio- Charity Prize Draw, 24 February 2022
We give children a week on working farms to grow courage, compassion and curiosity

Story

As part of The Great Charity Pot and Print Fair I’m offering a duck inspired utensil pot and bowl to be won in a Prize Draw to raise funds for Farms for City Children.

Having grown up in the countryside and also worked in school where they're are ever increasing mental health issues I can fully appreciate the benefits of children experiencing a week on a farm. The freedom, the chance to explore, breath fresh air, learn where their food comes from and care for animals far away from their everyday lives. I hope you can help me to raise some money towards giving more children a chance to get out into the countryside by donating to this page. My prize I have created has been inspired by my own runner/mallard ducks that love to have a splash about on the pond!

To enter you can donate to Farms for City Children here or you can enter for free by scanning the QR code below.

Each entry will place your name into the hat.

The Charity Prize Draw will close at 9pm on Wednesday 9th March. The winner will be picked at random by me on Friday 11th March 2022, and announced on my instagram and fb page.

A couple of things to note before taking part –

Any donations big or small will be gratefully received.

Any donations must be placed without Gift Aid.

Please leave your contact details with your donation as anonymous donations cannot be entered into the hat.

Open to UK residents only (the prize can only be posted out to a UK address).

In order to comply with licensing laws this Prize Draw can be entered for free.

Thank you so much for your support.

About the charity

Founded in 1976 by children’s author Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare, our three farms welcome 3000 children and young people from underserved communities each year, helping them to step outside of their daily lives, learn new skills, grow in confidence and be braver, stronger and more resilient.
