Our daughter, Olivia will be 4 years old in May and was born with an Atrial Septal Defect which is commonly referred to as a 'hole in the heart'. At the beginning of this year Olivia had a procedure at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital to close the hole and we were blown away by the amazing care we recieved. We will be forever grateful to the staff who were involved and would love to give something back to help other families in the future. The cost to Alder Hey of her procedure alone was roughly £6,351, and that doesn't even take in to account all of the pre/post procedural care. Therefore, we would like to think in our lifetime, through personal donation and numerous charity events, we could raise this amount (or even more!) for the Alder Hey Childrens Charity. 

We have recently refurbished four luxury holiday cottages: Lower Farm Holiday Cottages in Picton, Chester. They are marketed through Sykes and we would like to raffle a 7 day holiday in a cottage of your choice. Each ticket is £2 and can be purchased by making a donation on this just giving page. If donations of greater than £2 are received, multiple tickets will be allocated (SUBJECT TO YOU DISCLOSING YOUR DONATION AMOUNT OTHERWISE ONLY ONE TICKET CAN BE ALLOCATED PER DONATION). So that you can be contacted if you win, please also provide your name & email in the message, then tick the box at the end of the donation process that states 'I'm happy to share my contact details with Matthew Honeyborne'. The winner will be picked at random on Wednesday 20th May 2020.
