Wiltshire has some of the most wildlife-rich places in the UK, and Wiltshire Wildlife Trust needs your help to make sure it stays that way. Together we can protect, conserve and enhance this wonderful county in which we live, work and play not just for wildlife but for people too.

Story

We have a unique and unexpected opportunity to buy a nationally important area of land adjacent to our Oaksey Moor Farm Meadow and Clattinger Farm Nature Reserves in North Wiltshire. Lower Moor Farm, covering some 96 acres, is currently for sale and we urgently need your help to raise £230,000 towards the purchase and development of this site.

Wiltshire's wonderful wildlife and landscapes are under threat from a variety of pressures - everyday more of our precious habitats are lost due to fragmentation, development, agricultural improvement and neglect. We rarely get opportunities to take steps towards reversing this trend. Securing this land will bring tremendous benefits for both the wildlife and people of Wiltshire.

We urgently need to raise £930,000. We have applied to the Heritage Lottery Fund for £700,000 leaving £230,000 to raise from other sources. So, for every £1 you give us today the Lottery could provide a further £3!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to give to this Special Appeal: Wiltshire Wildlife Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please donate as much as you can. Many thanks for your support.
