Skydive for Clatterbridge · 22 March 2020 ·
I am Lowri - a therapeutic radiographer working at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - and i've decided to do something crazy! I am taking part in a 15,000ft skydive to raise money for the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Charity. I am choosing to do this as this fantastic charity are essential for raising money to fund vital research and the latest innovations in cancer treatment to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.
CCC is a leading cancer centre providing specialist cancer care for patients living in Cheshire, Merseyside and the Isle of Man. As a therapeutic radiographer, I work within a large multidisciplinary team to provide patients with cutting edge radiotherapy treatment and ensure they are fully supported during this difficult time. CCC is inspirational in its outstanding efforts to constantly improve treatment options and support for patients and their families. CCC is also expanding into Liverpool's first specialist cancer hospital, opening 29th June 2020, with the the aim of improving cancer care even further.
I was due to jump out of a plane on March 22nd 2020 but due to the coronavirus pandemic, this has been delayed provisionally until July 19th 2020. I am so thankful to everyone who has donated already and any further donations are greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for all of your support! x
