For more than 15 years, I have sponsored students in the Giraffe Project, some of whom have made it to college. I am incredibly proud of their achievements and happy to have been part of their success.The Giraffe Project is a charity that has built schools and provides education for children from the most impoverished areas of Nairobi. By sponsoring me to run the 20km on May 28th you will help The Giraffe Project improve classrooms, dorm space, water supply and toilets in the schools;  create a safe environment away from the harsh poverty of slum living; provide educational materials such as books, science lab equipment and computers; and support activities such as career counselling and health advice. Your donation will help pave the way for these children to leave the slums and build a better future for themselves and their families.
