It's been a long time coming but I finally got the courage to run the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon; it's extra special because I'm doing it in memory of my Grandad - Tom McParlin - and the charity that he co-founded in 1968: Autism Together.

This year would've marked both his 90th birthday in April and 15 years since he left us in November.
