The Felix Project rescues surplus food from wholesalers and delivers it direct to food banks, schools, and other charities. With the hunger crisis continuing to grow in London, they are rising to the challenge to redistribute more and more nutritious, surplus food to the most vulnerable communities. This February, despite being the shortest month of the year, they delivered the most meals ever in a single month. More than 3.6 million meals were redistributed to charities, schools, food banks and organisations across London. This equates to 1,523 tonnes of food being rescued and means that 7,615 tonnes of greenhouse gases were stopped from polluting the atmosphere.
