LSH - Birmingham MARATHON Canal Walk · 7 September 2018

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

We are fundraising for Sense, a national charity that supports people with complex communication needs, including those who are deafblind, to be understood, connected and valued. They are there for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Together, we can unlock barriers to communication so no one is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.

Our 42 km hike will take us from Birmingham City Center along one of our beautiful canals all the way to Warwick!  Our volunteer walkers have never done anything like this so it will certainly be a challenge!

We will be starting bright and early on the 7th September and finish hopefully before it gets dark!

Please help us raise funds for SENSE and reach our donation goal !!
