Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and making a donation in aid of Marie Curie.

The 3rd Law Society of Northern Ireland Legal Walk/Run is taking place  Friday 17th May 2019.

The route of the Walk/Run will begin from the Pedestrian precinct outside the High Court and will take us through the City Centre, along the River Lagan to Titanic Belfast, ending at the pedestrian area outside the Waterfront Belfast.

This event is aimed at raising much needed funds for Marie Curie, a cause which I hope you agree is worthy of support.   Marie Curie carries out vital work in the heart of our community providing end of life care and support for people living with a terminal illness, whether that is cancer or some other illness. It takes approximately £30,000 per annum to support a Marie Curie nurse and I would certainly like to raise as much as possible as we can to help fund a nurse – or maybe even two –for a year. Every £20 raised helps pay for an hour of dedicated nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness.

We ask you to help make this event as big a success as possible by encouraging friends, family, colleagues and anyone else with an interest in supporting the charity to join with us on the Walk/Run.
