Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge · 19 July 2014 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

This year Lubbock Fine are taking part in 2 exceptionally hard challenges to push themselves to the limits whilst raising money for our charity of the year - The Alzheimer's Society.

On 12th July, 16 of us will be making the long journey to Yorkshire in a bid to climb 3 of its toughest peaks.  Not only will this mean walking over 24 miles and climbing a total of 7,064 feet we will also be forced to endure each others company for nearly 48 hours!

In addition on 2nd August Simon De Souza, will be taking part in the London Triathlon.  This involves a 1.5k swim, a 40k bike ride and a 10k run. Hopefully the training will have paid off in time and stabilisers and arm bands won't be necessary!
