Story
This is my third time of pulling on the white and green jersey for Tŷ Hafan, but this first time leading from the front, as Captain.
I haven't skated for over two years - since stepping off the ice, after a successful campaign for Tŷ Hafan in the 2015 UK Charity Allstars. I was battered and bruised, from trying to play, whilst being totally out of shape. I'm by no means, in any better shape now and the journey to the 2019 UK Charity Allstars will not only involve 11 months of intensive fundraising - so as a team we can #Pay4ADay for Tŷ Hafan - but also have to include a bit of fitness training, to be able to last for a weekend of ice hockey (and more importantly, enable me to fit into my kit!).
Representing Tŷ Hafan again, is a source of great pride for me, having the opportunity to support an organisation that provides such fantastic support to so many children and their families. The Tŷ Hafan Ice Hockey Team is where I started my UK Charity Allstars journey, so after a two year break (retirement), it's good to be back.
I'm really grateful for any support your able to provide to the Tŷ Hafan Ice Hockey Team.
