I wanted to share with you a fundraising piece the team here at Looper and I are doing this Friday.
We will be hiking across The Seven Sisters Cliff Walk, East Sussex on the 30th of September for mental health charity Mind.
Distance: 13.6 miles / Approx. Time: 6 hours
1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year, and 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week in England. 1 in 5 people has suicidal thoughts, and 1 in 15 attempts suicide (Mind, 2021).
Our main goal is to dedicate time and donations to help reduce the stigma around mental health issues for adults and children. We're also creating an environment at Looper Insights where our employees are able to discuss and improve their own mental health, as well as educate themselves on the wider topic to help others.
We have chosen to raise for and partner with Mind, a UK based mental health charity. Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities for better services for those suffering.
