Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This summer, TeamNUCO will be undertaking another Charity Challenge, this time to help raise money for the Greater Manchester Youth Network; a special triathlon with disciplines including running, swimming, skateboarding, cycling and walking.

The remote distances will be equal to that of the distances between our very favourite Alpine resorts. The test will be set across an entire day, with households running together in their bubbles, and completing their share of the distances.

I am planning on setting off from Orford, Suffolk on my bike to Felixstowe (around 30km), including a short ferry over the River Deben. I will then swim 1.5km in the North Sea along the coastline from my home in Old Felixstowe to Felixstowe Pier. After a quick refreshment stop with my sea swimming fan club (my Mum and Cocker Spaniel, Angus), I will then shoot back up the coast on my bike (another 30km) to arrive at Iken Bay Riding and Livery Yard where I will finish of my triathlon with a gallop through Tunstall Forest (around 3-5km).

*Due to Covid restrictions still being in place in Manchester, my plan is now somewhat up in the air!* I'll be rehashing the plan for a local idea instead.*

Make sure you check out our Instagram stories on Wednesday 26th August and help support the team!
