I've not done one of these before, but this feels like the perfect opportunity to combine two real passions - a passion for walking (which has been as much of a life-saver as any medical treatment I’ve had over the last 18 months), and a passion for doing whatever I can to help others through a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Getting any kind of a cancer diagnosis is truly terrifying. However big or small, aggressive, early or advanced a cancer might be, it's impossible to underestimate the emotional as well as the physical impact. So, this October, I'm walking 100 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now! Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps, so please do if you can.
This challenge is about getting as many people as possible active and involved in raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and care. I've included more information about Breast Cancer Now below.

We believe that we can change the future of breast cancer and make sure that, by 2050, everyone diagnosed with the disease lives – and is supported to live well. But we need to act now.
