I, along with a team from The Core, will be attempting Snowdon to raise money for The Core at Corby Cube to support the arts activity that we do - particularly the work with children and young people giving those with the least opportunity to become inspired by creativity and the arts. The Core is a place for them to grow in confidence, make friends and be part of the community. 

Last year our creative and outreach programmes supported over 15,000 children and young people through the provision of theatre and dance groups, writing workshops, and music projects. This work is vital to ensuring future generations can harness the power of the arts to improve their life skills, build employability skills, and increase their well-being.

We are also part of an Arts Council matched challenge so for every pound raised they will match it pound for pound - so your donation really will go further.

I celebrate my 9th year at The Core this year and wanted to mark it with a challenge. Snowdon seemed a good one considering my lack of balance and therefore added risk! There could be photos...
