The Courtauld Institute of Art is one of the world’s leading centres for the study of the history and conservation of art. The Courtauld Gallery houses one of Britain’s best-loved collections. We are embarking on an ambitious project which will transform our facilities and resources we can offer.

Story

We have just arrived in Singapore to start our new adventure here and as ever, the Brown's never do anything by halves. So here we are days away from taking part in the Singapore International Triathlon on Saturday 16th August. Its only a sprint but we will swim 750m in the ocean which looks slightly 'soup like', 18km on the bike and then 5km to finish us off...all in 30 degree heat!

Two weeks later on 29th August, Tamara will run in her first ever school race....1km which at 5 years old will be pretty impressive if she manages to finish it!

Regardless of how long it takes us all, we would love your support to raise funds for the Sophie Trevalyan Thomas Scholarship. Sophie who lived next to us in Dorset tragically died last November at 29 years old. This scholarship will help fund tuition fees for one MA student at The Courtauld Institute of Art who demonstrates financial needs and in recognition of Sophie's talent for History of Art.

Sophie really was 'Tigger' in Winnie the Pooh! She used to sneak down to the stables and ride out with us as much as she could....full of boundless energy, always smiling and so much fun to be with. Lets hope we have half as much energy as Sophie as we swim, cycle and run on 16th and 29th

Every penny/dollar counts so please donate whatever you can

Thanks!

Lu, Nick, Tamara (and Jess)xxxx
