I'm sure you're all aware of the devastating news to hit the headlines in February 2016 of the story that's touched so many lives following the tragic death of 2 year old Faye Burdett, who sadly died from meningitis on Valentine's Day.  Well, this beautiful little girl was a December 2013 baby, the same as my own daughter, who I had the pleasure of getting to know through Facebook sharing with her mum.    You will have learned about her tragic death through the publicity and on-line petition to government to insist on the vaccination of all children, not just babies, against Meningitis B

To continue the amazing work of Jenny and Neil, and the many others, whose lives have been touched by Faye’s passing, in raising awareness of the horrible disease I will be joining the MRF team in the Virgin London Marathon 2017 in Faye's memory.   .......Yes that’s right I will be taking part in a marathon!!!! (more than likely jogging, walking and crawling it, as for anyone who knows me running is not my strong point).
