On Sunday morning, Claire, Geoffroy and myself completed the Madrid half Marathon.  We all had a great day and beat our previous times by at least 20 minutes, which may have been due to the beautiful sunshine, as opposed to the torrential downpour we faced in London in 2008.

Training this winter was particularly tough with the snow and sleet, and Claire and I were both out of training 2 weeks before the race due to injuries.  We were unsure as whether we'd be able to run on the day - but did it! We're now collecting money for Cancer Research.
