I was so sure I'd never do Leeds 10k in under an hour, that I said I'd enter a half marathon if I managed it. With a personal best of 58 minutes (likely reached due to the adrenaline buzz of accidently arriving half an hour late and missing the start of the race), I now find myself out of shape, out of breath, and 5 weeks away from Leeds half marathon. Macmillan's were incredibly supportive of Danny and his family in the final year of his life, and I'm pleased to be running to raise money for them to help others.
