Story

Thank you all for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2022, I shall be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on behalf of my beautiful Aunty Lou (my second mum), who last month was admitted to hospital due to having kidney failure and who will now be treated using dialysis with a permanent line. Through further testing, we were regrettably informed that she also has multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.

For those of you who know my aunt, you will know she is the most generous lady; kind, caring and vibrant! In honour of her, I'd love to give back so that we can hopefully find a cure for such an awful, aggressive disease! Myeloma is not well known, and it is my goal to raise more awareness and money to help fund research for all those battling this illness.

Any donation would be highly appreciated! Leukaemia & Myeloma Research UK need our help so they can keep supporting families like mine, as well as funding vital research that will help patients live longer and with a better quality of life.

A huge thank you and all my love,

Lucy x
