I signed up to the Jurassic Coast continuous 100k challenge on NYE.  December/January is always a very difficult time for me and many other people.  I lost my mum 14 years ago to Bladder Cancer.  Since then I have developed a major fear of the big C and I struggle to control the worry and stress this has upon me.  When I hear about anyone going through any type of Cancer diagnosis, it makes me incredibly sad to know that someone is physically feeling the pain my mum went through and their family is feeling the emotional pain I went through. 

On NYE I decided it's time to stop worrying and start doing!  Set myself a difficult challenge and raise as much as I can to try to make a difference even if it is only very small.  

Cancer is relentless. But so are Cancer Research UK, Whether we fundraise, volunteer, or donate, everyone has a part to play. And every part supports life-saving research. Play your part and together we will beat Cancer.
