I am fund raising for East Cheshire Hospice, it’s about time I get up and make a difference. To run East Cheshire hospice it cost £7500 a day! Only 20% of the running cost is funded by the council the 80% is down to people donating and fundraising!

My aim is to be able to raise enough money to cover 1 days running cost for East Cheshire Hospice.

I am doing all this in memory of my mum who sadly passed away in East Cheshire Hospice 21 years ago. So I thought no better way than on the 21st anniversary to really show the world what I’m made off. I’m tough, I’m strong and I will do this! But I wouldn’t be able to be doing this if it wasn’t for East Cheshire Hospice, they do an incredible job and support many families through some of the toughest times.

People always think hospices are horrible places, sad places. Yes of course there is a sadness in the air, but actually all my memories of being in the hospice are happy memories. I used to love going there, and they looked after us so well. The staff deserve medals! I remember East Cheshire Hospice as a happy place and that's the way it will stay! Let's make it an even happier place for all it patients and families!

They are simply AMAZING! I am so grateful for everything they have done for myself and my family and all the other families I know have been helped by them. It’s my turn to give back so please help me in reaching my goal!
